dFisher Books is the collaboration of Darlene Fisher and Jill Jurvelin, both of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. With a motivation to help support the North Idaho Family Literacy Projects, and to encourage young people to read, the two got to work.

The first book was recently pubished: Dolphins in a Pool in which two dolphins discover that trusting a friend, even when in uncertain waters, can bring joy and a better perspective on life. Dolphins was the brainchild of Darlene Fisher, who got the idea from a dream she had.

Books were distributed by the Coeur d'Alene Kiwanis Club to Coeur d'Alene Head Start Children as part of the club's Book-a-Month For Head Start program.
